Why we’re building Veraia: A new way to track and organise your health
Health doesn’t happen in one appointment. It doesn’t unfold in a single diagnosis, one doctor’s visit, or one defining moment. For most people, health is ongoing. It’s scattered test results. It’s remembering medication changes. It’s trying to explain patterns that only make sense when you look back over time.
And yet, most systems treat health as isolated events. That gap is why we’re building Veraia. While creating Veraia, there has not been a person we reached out in our focus group, random conversation or during our dedicated reserach time, who has not been overwhelmed by staying on top of their health or that of their loved ones. People who care for themselves, having mild chronic conditions, people who care for a family of four while potentially having a global lifestyle or the people who care for a bedridden loved one. Everything we saw during our research was notes, papers, logs, spreadsheets – you name it – and could be described only as organised chaos and overwhelm.
We came to the conclusion that: health is ongoing , but our tools aren’t
If you’ve ever tried to:
Track symptoms over time
Organise medical records across different providers
Keep notes before a GP appointment
Manage medications for yourself or a family member
- Live across different geographies
You know how quickly it becomes overwhelming. Information lives in emails, patient portals, notebooks, screenshots, memory. When stress is high, clarity disappears, over time our memory gives in to the avalanche of information.
Many people search for:
“best health tracking app”
“app to track symptoms over time”
“how to organise medical records digitally”
But most tools either:
focus purely on fitness metrics
feel overly clinical
or try to diagnose rather than support
We believe there is space for something different
The problem with most health tracking apps
Health tracking apps often promise control but create noise and further overwhelm. They add to the feeling of having more tasks, more things to figure out.
- Constant alerts.
- Data without context.
- Medical terminology without explanation.
Or worse features that imply diagnosis. Does anyone remember Web MD back in the day? That was probably the first attempt of humanity to bridge the gap between a human and a health diagnosis and let’s be honest, anyone who has used it probably shut down their screen feeling overwhelmed and negatively conditioned for what is going on. For someone already feeling anxious, unwell, or responsible for caring for another person, this can add pressure rather than relief. What many people actually need isn’t more data.
They need:
Continuity
Clear summaries
One place for everything
Support without alarm
What people really ask
Behind search queries like:
“What app can I use to track my symptoms?”
“How do I keep all my medical information in one place?”
“Is there an app to help carers organise health records?”
There is usually a deeper need:
- Clarity – Not medical answers, not automated diagnoses, not dramatic red flags.
Just the ability to see patterns, stay organised, and feel prepared when speaking to a healthcare professional. This is where we believe modern technology is outstanding, and should be implemented. AI’s creation was one of the most promising inventions in allowing speed and pattern recognition, which are close to impossible for the human eye and brain. AI’s implementation in healthcare will be one of the most exciting changes in our generation, which will most likely result in speeding up understanding of patterns, and quick processing of large data formats that take humans weeks if not months, while an AI can do it in seconds. This is the intersection of change we want Veraia to create within – supporting the journey of people into a world of less overwhelm because technology is doing the heavy lifting.
Veraia is not a medical diagnostic tool. However we build and evolve under the OG guiding principle of care – ‘Do no harm’ . The original Hippocratic Oath. In its simplicity, it brings us back to the core of what health and wellbeing care should be. – Deyana
Why we’re building Veraia?
Veraia was created for the in-between. For the everyday reality of managing symptoms, appointments, test results, medications and care decisions over time. We’ve seen how easily information fragments. How quickly memory freezes in stressful moments. How carers carry invisible cognitive loads.
We wanted to build something that:
Keeps health information in one place
Helps people notice changes without panic
Uses plain language instead of medical jargon
Maintains clear boundaries between information and medical advice
Veraia does not diagnose, it does not replace doctors and it certainly does not act as a medical authority.
It helps you stay oriented, organised and calm.
What makes Veraia different?
Veraia is a digital health tracking and organisation app designed to reduce overwhelm.
It combines:
Обяснения на разбираем и достъпен език
Контекст при насоки и въпроси
Structured health record organisation
Clear separation between information and medical advice
Instead of asking:
“What’s wrong?”
It helps you ask:
“What’s changed?”
Instead of overwhelming you with metrics, it focuses on continuity and clarity. If you’re looking for an app to organise medical records, track symptoms responsibly, and prepare for appointments without feeling alarmed, Veraia is being built with that purpose in mind.
Who is Veraia for?
Is it pompous to say – everybody? We really think every person can benefit from having a digital health assistant by their side. However, we do think some cohorts may benefit more than others. Veraia may support:
Individuals managing ongoing or complex health journeys
People who struggle to recall details during appointments
Carers tracking information for a loved one
Families coordinating health records across members
Veraia Life is not a diagnostic tool, it is not emergency care, it is not a substitute for medical treatment.
Veraia Life is a structured, supportive space for managing health information responsibly. It is a new way forward.
Healthcare systems prioritise efficiency. Insurance systems prioritise cost. Technology often prioritises scale.
We chose to prioritise the human behind the screen.
Health is dynamic. Life is complex. Information shouldn’t add to the chaos.
If you’re looking for a calmer way to track and organise your health, you can join the Veraia waitlist to follow the journey as we build. Clarity, without overwhelm. Information, without alarm.
That’s the intention behind Veraia. Запишете се за ранен достъп to be one of the first users of the app.
